About Bharat Darshan Park
Developed by South Delhi Municipal Corporation Bharat Darshan Park is a unique creation in the realm of art and has set a new tradition of Waste to Wonders by creating marvelous replicas of the great Indian monuments. The architecture of the park reflects the rich culture and heritage of India.
Located in the Punjabi Bagh region in South Delhi, Bharat Darshan Park lets you view all the amazing landscapes of all parts of India and are created by artists from all over India.
The sculpture of the famous Indian historical and religious monuments is created with 350 tonnes of waste materials in Bharat Darshan Park with the help of 200 artists from all over the country. In the creation of the park, various automobile components, metal scraps, iron sheets, nuts & bolts, and rods have been used that were obtained from the scrap shops of the MCDs.
With the motive to provide visitors with all the amenities, SDMC has built various unique entertainment facilities in the park using waste materials that are accessible to all visitors.
Apart from these amenities, the park has 1.5 km of walking trails, a playing area for kids, sculpted waterfalls, ponds, and fountains along with an amphitheater for cultural events.
Bharat Darshan Park, Location, Timings
Bharat Darshan Park is situated in the vicinity of Punjabi Bagh in New Delhi which is accessible via road and metro and the nearest metro station is Punjabi Bagh West.
Opening and Closing time
The park opens at 10 AM and closes at 10 PM from Tuesday to Sunday and on Monday and public holidays, the park remains closed.
The Bharat darshan park sdmc ticket price varies depending on the time and age of the person.
In the evening, the ticket price is INR150/- for adults while for kids and Senior citizens, the ticket price is INR 75/-.
In the daytime, the ticket price for adults is INR 100/- and for Kids & senior citizens, the ticket price is INR 50/-.
The entry fee for the students of MCD School is free while for other school students Rs 40/- is charged as the entry fee.
The funds collected from the tickets will be used for maintenance and other development work of the Park. The park has only one entry and exit gate opened for visitors, so, you can visit the monuments in sequence.
