2. Point spacing
When selecting an outdoor LED electronic screen, the point spacing of the display screen should also be selected according to the distance between the audiences. Outdoor LED electronic screens are generally divided into P4, P6, P8, P10, P16, etc. according to the point spacing.
One can generally estimate the optimal viewing distance according to the simplified formula “optimal viewing distance = point spacing/ (0.3~0.8)”. For example, if a P16 display is used and the point spacing is 16mm, the optimal viewing distance is 20-54 meters.
3. Grayscale
Outdoor LED electronic screens’ display effect measurement is an important indicator and it indicates grayscale. Grayscale is determined by the number of analog-to-digital conversion digits when supported by other supporting hardware.
The mainstream ones are 8-bit, 10-bit and 16-bit. 8-bit analog-to-digital conversion corresponds to 256 brightness changes. That is, 256 levels of gray, with a total of 256×256×256=16777216 color changes, which is commonly known as 16M colors.
10-bit analog-to-digital conversion corresponds to 1024 brightness changes. That is there are 1024 levels of grayscale, a total of 1024×1024×1024=1073741824 color changes, which is commonly known as 1.07 billion colors. The higher the gray level, the better the display effect.
4. Driving method
The driving method of outdoor LED electronic SMD Screen should be comprehensively determined based on the expected display effect and budget. LED electronic screens generally use constant current drive, and the driving methods are divided into static scanning and dynamic scanning.
Simply put, static scanning means that a pin of the driver chip controls an LED, and dynamic scanning means that a pin of the driver chip uses a refresh method. Control several LEDs to light up.
The static scanning display effect is relatively good, and it has small light loss. However, it comes with a relatively high cost. The dynamic scanning display effect is relatively poor, with large light loss.
Nevertheless, the cost can be reduced. Common dynamic scans include 1/2 scan, 1/4 scan, 1/8 scan, and 1/16 scan.

1. Make sure to keep the humidity low in the environment where you use the full-color LED display screen, and ensure that nothing with moisture properties enters the screen.
Applying power to a large full-color display screen containing humidity will cause corrosion of the full-color display screen components, resulting in permanent damage.
2. To avoid possible problems, we can choose passive protection and active protection. Keep items that may cause damage to the full-color display screen away from the screen.
When cleaning the screen, wipe it as gently as possible to remove the damage. The possibility is reduced to small.
3. The large LED SMD Screen full-color display has a close relationship with our users, and it is also very necessary to do a good job in cleaning and maintenance. Exposure to wind, sun, dust, etc. in the outdoor environment for a long time will easily cause it to become dirty.
After a period of time, dust will definitely cover the screen. This needs to be cleaned in time to prevent dust from covering the surface for a long time and affecting the viewing effect.
4. The power supply is required to be stable and well-grounded. Avoid using it under harsh natural conditions, especially during strong lightning weather.
5. It is strictly forbidden to allow water, iron powder and other metal objects that are easily conductive to enter the screen. The large LED display screen should be placed in a low-dust environment as much as possible.
Large dust affects the display effect, and too much dust causes damage to the circuit. If water enters due to various reasons, please cut off the power immediately and contact maintenance personnel until the display panel inside the screen is dry before use.
6. LED display switching sequence:
(1) First turn on the control computer so that it can run normally, and then turn on the large LED SMD Screen display.

When playing, do not stay in the all-white, all-red, all-green, all-blue, etc. bright screen for a long time to avoid excessive current, excessive heating of the power cord, damage to the LED light, and affect the service life of the display. 8. It is recommended that the LED display screen should have a rest time of more than 2 hours a day, and the LED display screen should be used at least once a week during the rainy season. Generally, the screen is turned on at least once a month and lit for more than 2 hours.
