If you did return your original Deed Poll to us for archiving, we will be able to issue you a legally binding copy. Please be advised that your deed poll will not be archived if you placed your order with us before May 2000 because the archive service was not available at that time.

The easiest approach to order a new Deed Poll if you are sixteen years of age or older is to call our Helpline, provided that you are able to pay with a debit or credit card. Alternatively, you can apply for a fresh Deed Poll with us.
For a kid under the age of sixteen, you can apply online or by mail for a replacement Deed Poll. If you haven’t changed your name after using the lost Deed Poll, you should include your current name in the new name boxes and your previous name in the current name sections when you submit your name details on the application form. The objective is to duplicate the name change that shows up on your lost Deed Poll record.
